Well, the day all started with me going to work in a pink skirt. No, the skirt is not mine, wasn't mine either. Linda asked me why I was wearing "so sweet today"? With honesty brimming inside me, I sheepishly answered," 我没有长裤了”. Hahaa I normally wear jeans/pants/slacks and just a random tshirt or shirt, whatever is in my cupboard. Okay jokes aside, it was a good day (or maybe night).

I brought PVC glue, scotch tape, double sided tape, ruler, pencil and paper. So when the clock hit 12, I quickly made my way to my bag to get all these stuff. And then horror set in: I HAVE NO SCISSORS OR RULER. Oh no!!!! That means ping is gonna have this super huge card. And I doubt I can write an entire block square of words!!!

But my centre doesn't have scissors/pen knife. There isn't really a need to have one when you're in the office cause you've got all sorts of machine. And I went to a few clinics which refused to loan me cause of fear I might leave it somewhere or something! In desperation, I walked over to the school of medicine Starbucks. I asked the cashier dude to loan me a pair of scissors and he was really reluctant. Thus, I employed the smile tactic and he eventually lent me a pair of scissors on the counter but he told me to return him before the supervisor came back. Haha I had to chiong cut everything I needed in 15-20mins or so. The challenge was that the scissors was kinda faulty, I had to stick the paper in the empty gaps of the bench-table and use both hands to cut. Of course the lines look terrible and the shapes look horrid. At least I tried!!! Plus I'm confident that ugly lines will not stand between baker ping and i, or so I hoped! And then I pieced everything together at lightning speed... Leaving me 15mins to have lunch and walk all the way back to centre.

Centre calls were so boring after lunch. I was doodling/writing ping's card/ singing/ all sorts of weirdo things! And I was so happy when I knocked off that I packed my stuff and walked to the lift lobby until I realised ping's card was still on my table. Thus, I turned back, grabbed the cards and brisk walked my way to the mrt.

Reached holland v ten mins prior to time. I called josh to ask him stuff and he miraculously materialised from thin air. Luckily,

I recognized his voice. Because I felt someone sneaking up towards me and I was ready to... STRIKE. I could recognize his voice so there were no injuries inflicted in the end phew (:

Yay and I got a castle!!! Haha I still like Neuschwanstein but my cardboard castle isn't too bad. I see some good attempt!! Bring me back to the time in pri school when I was environment ambassador for Rosyth, I would have given you a sticker and a badge for the good recycling of materials effort hahahah. I really thank you for it, truly.

Then we went to PV to get cupcakes. Cause I was quite sure buying an entire cake for 3 ppl to eat is just insane. Josh and I went up to get the cupcakes! First time in a v long while to PV, I couldn't even rmb where it was!!!

Then when tsy finally we came, we started hide-and-seek trying to find ping!! Supposed to meet at katong laksa actually haha. When josh and I were at katong laksa... I must say it actually looks good!!! But it was too hot to have dinner at non-Aircon place, so we settled for yashimaru ramen and daily scoop. Yashimaru ramen is more like ramen monster than ajisen or menya musashi. I do not think it was the best ramen we have had but it is probably the first we all had ramen tgt. We thought daily scoop would be crowded with people but I'm glad we reached before the crowd came! Yay I had A&W ice cream float with mocha ice cream! Honestly, I was a tad bit disappointed cause I have heard many people raved over daily scoop. It was okay, not fantastic. The lychee martini wasn't impression lasting. A&W root beer is so rare in Singapore, I rmb those times in the USA where root beer is like drinking coke/Pepsi in Singapore. And the A&W waffles were generous in both portion and taste. Anw my float was satisfying! Mocha kept down the sweetness but also tasted spendid on it's own. We talked, laughed and took photos. Also opened our presents and had a good laugh! And so we are now...

Really like my presents I guess? I finally have a watch which strap kinda fits my wrist yay! And pooh post-it's! And tumbler! And just everything lah!
